Everlast concluded the breast cancer awareness month with an action-packed boxing clinic on 1 November 2013 at MMA and fitness studio Fight 360. The Fight for Pink Boxing Clinic saw participants sweat it out in a heart pumping combat workout session conducted by the expert trainers from Fight 360. Participants learnt the basic of boxing such as how to tie on hand wraps which serve to protect their hands and wrists, and the right way to punch. They were also given a chance to have a feel of the boxing ring, where they practised hitting punch mitts.
Throughout the event, participants also enjoyed healthy snacks such as muesli bars, yogurt, fruits, guava juice and strawberry shake at The Pink Bar.
Everlast Pink Fighter and breast cancer survivor, Ann Ang, was present to inspire fellow women with her story. During the event, she performed a demonstration on boxing techniques, which she picked up during her intensive training the past few weeks.
The evening ended with an exciting ‘pink fight’ encapsulates the fighting spirit that Everlast aims to promote among women through the Fight for Pink Boxing Clinic.
